Free Power Platform Community Help

Build useful automations. Learn the steps. Share what works.

Powerful Platform’s free community help service helps small businesses and makers work through questions about Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, SharePoint and Dataverse. Start with a practical question or explore our solution guides.

Ask a Power Platform question

Use our contact form and begin your message with Community Help. Describe one problem and the result you want. Questions are reviewed as capacity allows; response times and individual answers are not guaranteed.

  1. Your goal: What should the app, flow or report do?
  2. Your tools: Which Microsoft products, data sources and connectors are involved?
  3. What happens now: Describe the current process or paste a redacted error message.
  4. What you tried: Tell us which steps worked and where you got stuck.
  5. Constraints: Mention relevant licensing, permissions or access limitations.

What the free service covers

High-level solution ideas, explanations, troubleshooting direction and links to useful learning resources. Free community help does not include guaranteed delivery, production administration or a custom implementation. If a project needs hands-on work, any paid scope is discussed separately.

Learn, build and download

Explore the Powerful Platform blog for practical solution guides and visit Free Tools for available resources. As new examples are released, their guides will include pictures, high-level steps and, where available, free downloadable starter files.

Each downloadable example will state what it contains, how to use it, its dependencies and its validation status. A blueprint or source starter is different from an importable Power Platform solution. Microsoft subscriptions or premium connectors may still be required even when the download is free.

Help the community learn

Tell us which guide helped, suggest a future tutorial, or share a correction through the contact form. General themes may inform future guides; we will ask before publishing your submitted material or an identifiable story.

Keep requests useful and safe to share

Be respectful and focus on one problem at a time. Use sample data. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, personal records or confidential client information. Read our privacy policy for information about submitted details.
